Right now, I can be still and know that He is God.

A Bible affirmation for being present, rooted in Psalm 46:10.

“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.”

Psalm 46:10 · BSB

Reflection

Psalm 46 opens with earthquakes and roaring seas. Be still comes in the middle of that chaos, not after it. God doesn't wait for things to calm down before He shows up.

A prayer

God, quiet me here, in the middle of the noise. Let me know You are near.
