Verses for Grief

Death and mourning won't have the last word.

A Bible affirmation for grief, rooted in Revelation 21:4.

‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.

Revelation 21:4 · BSB

Reflection

John's vision ends with no more death or mourning or crying or pain. That doesn't make your loss today any smaller. It means that one day God Himself will answer every tear.

A prayer

Jesus, comfort me while I wait for the day You make all things new.
