Verses for Hard Times

I don't have to be strong for Jesus. I can come as I am.

A Bible affirmation for hard times, rooted in Matthew 11:28.

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 · BSB

Reflection

Jesus called this out to ordinary people weighed down by heavy religious rules and hard lives. He offered rest, not another task. His yoke is easy because He carries the weight with you.

A prayer

Jesus, I'm worn out. I'm taking You up on the rest You promised.
