Verses for Hard Times

What I'm going through now can't compare to what God has ahead.

A Bible affirmation for hard times, rooted in Romans 8:18.

I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18 · BSB

Reflection

Paul knew suffering firsthand. He put it on a scale next to the glory to come and concluded there's no comparison. That doesn't make today's pain small. It makes tomorrow's glory very large.

A prayer

God, when this feels heavy, remind me of the glory You have ahead.
