Reflection

Proverbs noticed long ago that the heart and the body are connected. A crushed spirit wears you down. Laughter, thankfulness and good company aren't frivolous. They're part of how God made you to heal.

A prayer

Lord, lift my spirit where it has been crushed. Give me something to laugh about today.
