God made today. I'm going to find something in it to be glad about.

A Bible affirmation for joy, rooted in Psalm 118:24.

This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24 · BSB

Reflection

Psalm 118 is a thank-you song from someone who was nearly knocked down and was helped by God. Its joy isn't naive. It has seen trouble and still decided today is worth celebrating.

A prayer

God, I don't want to wait for a perfect day to be glad. Help me rejoice in this one.
