Joy is found in His presence, and He is here with me today.

A Bible affirmation for joy, rooted in Psalm 16:11.

You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.

Psalm 16:11 · BSB

Reflection

David wrote this as someone who had made God his only refuge. He doesn't say joy comes from getting what he wants. It comes from being near God, and that is available on a plain Tuesday too.

A prayer

Show me the path of life today, God. Fill the ordinary hours with the joy of being near You.
