God can fill me with joy and peace, even on a flat, tired day.

A Bible affirmation for joy, rooted in Romans 15:13.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13 · BSB

Reflection

Paul prays this over a church that was struggling to get along. Notice the order: joy and peace come as you believe, and hope overflows by the Spirit's power, not by trying harder.

A prayer

God of hope, fill me up. I'm running low, and I'd rather overflow with what You give.
