God has done great things for me, and I'm allowed to celebrate.

A Bible affirmation for joy, rooted in Psalm 126:3.

The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

Psalm 126:3 · BSB

Reflection

This psalm remembers the day the exiles came home to Zion. They were like dreamers, their mouths filled with laughter. Remembering what God has already done is one of the surest ways back to joy.

A prayer

Lord, remind me of the great things You've done for me. Fill my mouth with laughter again.
